The Thursday Think Tank - #42 Love

She came to me
after nine months of mamma's
of pregnant anticipation,
red face screwed up
in a surprised bawl.

She looked so cute with
  an adorable crooked nose,
velveteen buttocks,
fragile fingers
and curled up toes.

When i saw her first
on that
magical May morning,
i knew that it was
sisterly love at first sight.

  3. I was so enthralled in the language, I didn't anticipate the baby until the very end.
    Fantastic.

  4. So sweet and especially when she was revealed to be a sister at the end. I think we all expected "child". Very, very nice!
